'Three Idiots' meet All India Digital Media Editors-Journalists Association in Maharashtra, where farmers are committing suicide..

Pune, Date 25: The Maharashtra government has recently admitted that an average of three farmers commit suicide every day in the state. Against this backdrop, the All India Digital Media Editors-Journalists Association is taking the initiative to bring forward positive, self-sufficient and export-friendly models in the agricultural sector. Led by founder president Raja Mane.

This organization met three agricultural entrepreneurs who are 'creating a world from scratch' and took note of their work.

1) Production of 50 thousand bunch of leafy vegetables per day on 80 acres:

The ideal Gaikwad brothers - The Gaikwad brothers, who produce about 50,000 bunch of leafy vegetables every day by renting about 80 acres of land in the Yavat area, are becoming a successful model in agricultural management. Nitin Gaikwad is handling the production, while Sachin Gaikwad sells directly from his own Store in Gultekdi Market in Pune.

This initiative has benefited from the guidance of former Deputy Sarpanch Tatya Gaikwad, who promoted the concept of ‘Swayampurn Gaon’ in Wadki (Tal. Haveli). He has created an ideal of value addition and direct access to the market by establishing a chain from production to sale.

2) The global path of organic farming:  Diana Biotech’s initiative

Head of Diana Biotech, a world-class exporter from the Bhandgaon area. Dr.Vinodkumar Patil explained that organic farming is a sustainable option for the future. He mentioned that excessive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides reduces soil fertility, increases water pollution and adversely affects human health through the food chain.

He expressed his belief that there is a growing demand for organic products at the national and international levels and this path will be useful for export-oriented agriculture. He also said that the central and state governments will provide more effective incentives to organic farming.

3) Global flower sales chain:

Import to distribution Vijay Kunjir and Santosh Kalbhor have set up sales management at eight locations in Punjab, Dehradun and Pune by importing ornamental flower varieties from abroad through a partnership. The organization was presented with the difficulties in the clearance of imported containers. The organization assured to follow up on this issue at the government level.

Pilot project of organic farming in Vadki Under the guidance of Raja Mane and in coordination with the All India Digital Media Editors Journalists Association, it has been decided to implement a pilot project of organic farming in Gaikwadwadi, Vadki (Tal. Haveli). This initiative will be undertaken with the goal of “making villages self-sufficient and farmers towards academic economic progress”.

Memorandum of Understanding for the Promotion of Organic Farming

The organization expressed its determination to implement organic farming promotion, training camps and awareness campaigns in villages. An MoU will be signed between Diana Biotech and the All India Digital Media Editors Journalists Association for the promotion of organic farming, for which Adv. Amol Patil and Dr. Vinod Kumar Patil have taken the initiative. In this meeting, the newly appointed National Vice President of the organization Adv. Amol Patil, Pune city president Mahesh Tele Patil, Organizer Shri Lahu Parve Working President and Sudarshan TV Bureau Chief Vijay Randive, Upsarpanch Machhindra Gaikwad Vadki Gram Panchayat, Sarpanch Vishal Baravkar of Deulgaon Gadi, famous entrepreneurs from Market Yard Pune, Ganesh Gaikwad, Ghanshyam Soni, Namdev Nikam, Pradeep Khatal were present. The participants expressed their belief that the work of bringing their questions and positive models to the government and society will be done with the help of digital media. It was expressed that the true power of digital media is its ability to reach farmers' voices from the farm to the international level.
